Mattress Layers/Toppers
We were inspired by Japan's bed, the futon,
for its simplicity. We saw it, we loved it,
we were motivated by it, and then we improved upon it.
One improvement was we designed our mattresses for easy care.
The 3" layers have less bulk than one thick mattress so
the care of moving and sunning is much easier.
When layering we recommend two firmer layers like the
hemp or cotton/wool layers and a wool layer for the best
comfort. These natural layers will compress approximately
1/3 of its thickness with regular use.
A washable zippered cover is recommended to protect your
purchase and increase the life of the product.

3" Mattress Layer/Topper
Our handcrafted mattress system allows for
tailored firmness and comfort by using different
layers of our 3" mattresses. They can also be
used as a mattress topper to add additional
comfort to any mattress.

3" Wool Mattress Layer/Topper
This 3" thick layer of our Pure Grow Wool™
is covered in a natural organic cotton cover
and is hand tufted for quality and comfort.
We recommend this resilient breathable layer
of comfort on top of two firmer mattress layers,
or add it to any style of mattress for a cozy
featherbed-like feeling . A zippered washable
cover can be purchased separately for additional
protection.

3" Organic Cotton/Pure Grow Wool™ Layer/Topper
Our organic cotton/Pure Grow Wool™ mattress
layer is comprised of organic cotton wrapped
in Pure Grow Wool™. The inherent qualities of
wool make this layer naturally fire retardant.
The cotton and wool is hand tufted to a natural
organic cotton cover. The organic cotton and
Pure Grow Wool™ mattress layer is ideal when
creating a bed using our layered mattress system
or to change the feeling of your present mattress.

3" Hemp Fill Mattress Layer/Topper
Hemp is naturally mold and mildew resistant which
make our 3" hemp mattress layer very popular in
humid climates. Being three times stronger than
cotton, twice as resistant to abrasions and its
inherent denseness makes it a good solid base between
a slat frame and any other 3" mattress layer.
This topper is covered with an all-hemp fabric
to continue the hemp support.
