The description of firmness: Softer, Medium, Firm and Firmest is very personal and subjective.  One person may describe the Firmness as Medium while another may think it is on the Softer or Firmer side.  The descriptions are meant to give an idea of what range might be most comfortable when considering personal needs.  The 3” wool topper was also included in the description to show how the “idea” of firmness or comfort can change without sacrificing support.

Also if more than one person is going to sleep on this bed, there will be different support, comfort and firmness requirements.  A happy compromise can be found.
